The main activity of the OUKEJ Theatre Group is the artistic theatre production by hearing impaired and hearing professionals, as well as the education and support of hearing impaired pupils in inclusive education. The association focuses on theatre performances for children, youth and adults, educational seminars and workshops in drama education. In addition, it has taken on the organisation of St. Nicholas Day at Moravian Square near the statue of Jobst, where activities for children will be provided, including sign language demonstrations. All performances are comprehensible for both hearing impaired and hearing audiences, and the association’s activities also support children with intellectual disabilities and disorders across the autism spectrum.
